that are not many interesting facts about this rocket because,well, the program is still not compltely done. it is build for the journey of over lower orbit specifically to get back to the moon by 2020, and replacing the space shuttles. there words about the posibility of using it to the mars, but nasa keep it to the moon to this time. until now, we can only compare it to the saturn V and space shuttles.

BACK TO THE MOON: the rocket that brought us there

On july 20th, 1967, the first men set a foot on the moon. neil armstrong, followed by edward aldrin reached the moon after thousands of years men had been mesmerized by it. in 1972 lunar mission is over, ended by Apollo 17. to most people Apollo is the image of a launching rocket. that is a false perception, because Apollo is the name of the mission. eg, Apollo 11, Apollo 13 etc. the rocket used in Apollo missions were the Saturn V (pronounced Saturn five).
Even until today, when NASA had brought down their all their manned space flight by rocket and replaced it by space shuttle, Saturn five remains as the superior in all three views: height, weight and payload standpoint. The payload standpoint outstandingly surpasses the space shuttle by 22600 kg, almost double of what the space shuttle could take to the low earth orbit, and has to be reminded the Saturn V had never had serious problem to cause a complete failure while the space shuttle did, twice by Challenger and Columbia.

CRYSTAL ISLAND: the largest building in the world?

Crystal Island, proposed to be the largest building in the world, would be built in Moscow Russia. it is currently planned to have 2.5 million square meters floor space (27 million square feet, compare to Burj Dubai, 334 000 square meters, 3595100 square feet) and the height of 450 meters, almost the same height of Petronas Twin Towers which is currently holding the record of the world's tallest twin tower.

The radical Blended Wing design has been developed by Boeing in cooperation with the NASA Langley Research Centre. The mammoth plane will have a wing span of 265 feet compared to the 747's 211 feet, and is designed to fit within the newly created terminals used for the 555 seat Airbus A380, which is 262 feet wide. The new 797 is in direct response to the Airbus A380 which has racked up 159 orders, but has not yet flown any passengers. Boeing decide to kill its 747X stretched super jumbo in 2003 after little interest was shown by airline companies, but has continued to develop the ultimate Airbus crusher 797 for years at its Phantom Works research facility in Long Beach, Calif. The Airbus A380 has been in the works since 1999 and has accumulated $13 billion in development costs, which gives Boeing a huge advantage now that Airbus has committed to the older style tubular aircraft for decades to come. There are several big advantages to the blended wing design, the most important being the lift to drag ratio which is expected to increase by an amazing 50%, with overall weight reduced by 25%, making it an estimated 33% more efficient than the A380, and making Airbus's $13 billion dollar investment look pretty shaky. High body rigidity is another key factor in blended wing aircraft, It reduces turbulence and creates less stress on the air frame which adds to efficiency, giving the 797 a tremendous 8800 nautical mile range with its 1000 passengers flying comfortably at mach .88 or 654 mph (+-1046km/h) cruising speed another advantage over the Airbus tube-and-wing designed A380's 570 mph (912 km/h) The exact date for introduction is unclear, yet the battle lines are clearly drawn in the high-stakes war for civilian air supremacy.

boeing 787 dreamliner

boeing 787 dreamliner is a mid-sized, newest aircraft from boeing corpoation currently under development. Its maximum seating capacity in a 1-class seating is between 290 to 330 passengers depending on variant. Boeing stated that it will be more fuel efficient than earlier Boeing airliners, 20 percents better efficiency than other plane of it's size and will be the first major airliner to use composite materials for most of its construction (up to 80 percents).

what is scramjet?

scramjet is just like ramjet. the process of fuel combustion is almost the same with ramjet. just that scramjet combusted the fuel supersonically to increase the efficiency of combustion. the faster the combust it's fuel, the faster the jet goes. sr-71 blackbird the fastest jet in history reach up to mach 3.4 using ramjet. the x-30 research gave up to mach 17. awesome didn't they?

what is ramjet?

a type of aircraft engine that uses the forward motion of an aircraft to compress air into the engine.
passenger jet uses turbojet engines, which mechanically drive the air into it. ramjet can obtain theoretically up to mach 5. however sr-71 blackbird, the fastest aircraft ever only achieve the max speed of mach 3.4 (4165km/2603M) this is due to environmental factor

what makes transformers is damn better than revenge of the fallen

my very first opinion about revenge of the fallen is that the plot is a chaos. it doesn't have the flow of transformers. the first sequel keeps the story line in an acceptable logic and fiction. but the second is weird. i mean, how can they revive back megatron without the all spark? they just repair him on ocean's floor? that's weird. at least they should prepare a better explanation. and than there is the matrix. the second kind of all spark. don't you think they keep on using the same idea? overall, it was a bold move for the writers but in the end, they should find a better way of doing it.
transformers is a roller coaster ride, revenge of the fallen is a train wreck.

what is an aircraft

aircraft is a vehicle which is able to fly supported by air. aircraft counters the gravity by forces called static lift ( balloons, blimps etc) or dynamic lift of an airfoil (wings and rotors). however, not all flying machines are considered as aircraft. eg. rockets and missiles. this because these two method of flying are not using aerodynamics force to fly, instead it uses rocket thrust, and only navigates by aerodynamics force. currently, the largest aircraft would be the Airbus A380 and the largest helicopter is the Mil Mi-26

my name is izzad. i got nothing much to write honestly. all i'm doing is staring at the monitor, thinking what picture i want to put here. i tried minutes ago but i have no idea where the one that i put went to. right now my house is running out of water, i can't wash the dishes and the clothes, my parents are teaching their students in the kitchen and the back room, my sister is on the phone with her boyfriend and my other sister is 2000 km from here, i don't know what she's doing. me, watching mj dancing on statue of liberty. now i'm thinking to watch the tv. or checking imdb. maybe i'll check imdb first.
